Popcorn chain is a close alternative to snake chain. This 925 sterling silver chain has a 1.2mm diameter and is also available in 16". Although it has the same thickness as snake, it is lighter-weight and slightly more affordable.

Generally speaking, I've found that this chain looks better on my Small Pendant and Medallion-sized items. I'd recommend the snake chain over the popcorn for the rectangular-sized Pendants.
