14/20 Gold-Fill is comparable to gold-plate, except that the quality and durability is many times superior. Instead of being dipped, gold is anodized to the base metal (electrically fused), a much stronger bond that can't flake or wear away. Due to the cost of the anodizing process and the amount of gold used, 14/20 gold-fill is comparable in price to sterling silver.    

This is a thick, luxurious snake chain, 1.6 mm diameter, well-suited for our gold-plated bails and brass frame pendants. It is available at the moment in 16" and 18".
