Mesmer is part of the SGRAFFITO collection. The name refers to the Austrian physician Franz Anton Mesmer, famously reputed to have invented hypnotism. The design is ancient/modern, simple but ornate. Concentric circles of sgraffito, like a tree trunk's, are carefully scratched over two layers of enamel. 

All of our dangle earrings are finished with premium Argentium silver wires and include a pair of silicone ear backs. Argentium silver is a step up from sterling silver; it is 100% nickel-free.
